They included numerous and varied Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner items, including unusual, attractive desserts.
We, 10 long time friends, came for Brunch in a surprise celebration of another's 80th birthday.
When you went back for more food, your empty plate, used utensils and napkin were removed and replaced with new, again without asking.
We stopped to have the Lobster Benedict. We were a few minutes late and the breakfast kitchen was closing... but they were gracious and cooked it up for us anyway. Delicious.

The hotel is in a great place, right between rye beach and Portsmouth. The restaurant off the lobby exceeded all expectations, the food was great, definitely one of the best places to eat in the area. The hotel was just so-so. They were close on a lot of things, but not exactly. We had a room right next to the housekeeper area, so we'd come back to our room and there were 3-4 carts parked outside our room. They came to that room really early one morning and were doing something in there that made our walls shake, maybe stacking boxes against the common wall? They are in the perfect place for biking, yet don't have bikes. There is no beach access from the hotel, and we expected to try to rent a sailboat while we are here, but there are no sailboat rentals anywhere near the hotel. (definitely not their fault). They were a little stingy with the towels, and questioned us when we took some extras from the cart. The people working there were otherwise super nice, and very service oriented.
TWO FULL SEPARATE BATHROOMS SUITES! A romantic rendezvous here makes! Pretty and comfortable are their furnishing! Soothing are the paintings surrounded by pewter, white, and blue coloring! Wonderful staff! Plus, within this property, we have loved our breakfasts at SALT; taken beautiful nature hikes; dipped into their pool; sipped tea while sitting out on their front porch; and, received fabulous spa treatments! Refreshed and rejuvenated we are after our stay here every year!

I had a wonderful stay at this magnificent hotel. The service was superb for both room service and dining service. Rooms are very clean and the hotel is in an area that is great for walking around and looking at the docks and water. I highly recommend having a mini vacation at this hotel.
The moment your glass was near empty, it was refilled without asking.
